Validation Technician

A global Nutraceutical client, with phenomenal benefits and a collaborative corporate culture is looking to identify and hire a Validation Technician.  The Validation Technician is responsible for all equipment and process validation activities including ensuring the execution of validation activities are done to state and federal regulatory requirements. The Validation Technician develops, authors and executes all validation protocols and reports per directions from Validation Engineer and Validation Manager.


The Validation Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to:


  • Performing assigned duties and assisting Validation Engineer and/or Validation Manager for below mentioned activities:
    • Validation Planning
    • Validation Scheduling
    • Validation Execution
    • Validation Project Reports
    • SOP Preparation and Training
  • Creating validation protocols and summary reports in compliance with Company standards and/or government regulations.
  • Co-ordinating change control and equipment related changes.
  • Creating and submitting change requests for facilities modification and document approvals.
  • Investigating, documenting, and resolving protocol deviations in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that documentation is accurate and deviations are properly addressed.
  • Creating and submitting change requests for new equipment.
  • Working in a team environment to meet qualification standards and timelines.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.



  • Associate Degree in Engineering, Scientific or related field; Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Scientific related field strongly preferred.
  • 6 months to 1-year experience in food, pharmaceutical and/or medical device process development, equipment qualification in GMP environment
  • Validation experience of equipment cleaning methodologies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Project and Visio.
  • Strong statistical analysis background.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of PLC and automated controls qualification.
  • Knowledge of qualification requirements for powder and liquid handling, processing, and packaging.
  • Thorough knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and the fundamentals of technical documentation.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of attention to details.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Understanding of mechanical systems as they relate to manufacturing equipment, facilities equipment and cleaning systems.
  • Understanding of electronic systems as they relate to process controls and equipment controls.
  • Understanding of materials as they relate to manufacturing equipment and suitability for processing compliance.
